The Curtis Creek Manifesto . . .

If you are even remotely thinking about learning to fly fish, go get it

I just read The Curtis Creek Manifesto cover to cover. Of course it is only 48 pages long and is presented in the form of a comic book, but hey I read it cover to cover in one sitting and I’m damn proud of it! When I am done posting this I will read it again. This book gives you almost everything you need to know about fly fishing to get stared. I know I mentioned this in a previous post, but it is worth mentioning again.

After I read it I wanted to find out more about the author to see if he wrote any other books. Turns out that this was his only book. His name is Sheridan Anderson, although in the inside front cover it is listed as Sheridan Andreas Mulholland Anderson with a swarthy photo of him. Just reading his book you get a feel for the person who wrote it. After a quick search I found a good little article that seems like the Cliff Notes version of his life story. Check it out if you have some time:
